Copying Velocity or Equilibrium Data:

This utility allows you to make a copy of the edited data from a velocity or equilibrium experiment. On occasion you may want to generate results using different analysis approaches on the same dataset and compare the results. In that case it is helpful if you can have the data available under two different names (for example, analyzing only the early or late scans with the van Holde - Weischet analysis and comparing the results in the combined integral distribution plot).

You can invoke the utility by clicking on "Copy Velocity[Equilibrium] Run" in the utilities menu.

In addition, you can change the cell descriptions that have been entered in the Beckman data acquisition program. UltraScan allows you provides facilities for changing these descriptions after the data has been acquired.

After the dataset to be copied has been selected, a dialog will open and prompt you to enter a new run name (do not use spaces as part of the run name, use underscores or hyphens instead). Next, the Velocity or Equilibrium details window will open up and allow you to change the text in the "Cell Description" field. Repeat this process for each cell for which you want to change the cell description.
